Once you have decided a move is in your future, it’s best to start the conversation with The Organized Pack. We can assist with scheduling dates for everything, make suggestions, and help make the best decision on a date for packing the home. Once a date has been decided, we do take a small deposit to reserve the date on the calendar and confirm the information with an email. The deposit goes towards packing, the day of service. The Organized Pack offers free in-home estimates. Every home contains a different amount of contents to be packed, however, most homes we can give an estimate after one phone call. When our client have larger homes and/or collections we prefer to meet at the property to do a quick onsite estimate. Our packing teams are highly experienced and we work efficiently. Typically, our team can pack a house in 1-2 days; however, some larger homes may be up to 4 days. We work during the day hours and respect family time in the evenings. We work on an hourly rate plus the costs of materials. Estimates are always free and give you a great indication of what to expect, an opportunity to meet us in person, and we can even help with other parts of your move too. YES! Our team will bring all packing items necessary to pack your whole space. We will arrive with many different size cardboard boxes, including wardrobe and art boxes as well as packing paper, bubble wrap, and additional materials! If we don’t have a box to fit an item that needs to be packed, we will customize the box on site! All of our materials are sourced locally in St. Louis, allowing us to keep our costs low. Typically, the owner is at the home once we arrive to do a walk through to give us direction on what needs to be accomplished. Once that walk through is complete, the homeowner typically goes on with their day and is only contacted by us over a phone call or text if a question comes up. Once the home is packed and the job is complete, we like to do one last walk through with the owner to make sure everything is perfect. There are some situations where the homeowner is out of town and not able to be present. We are happy to entertain phone calls, texting, or facetiming when we arrive! Have additional questions? Absolutely! We are typically scheduled the day after the actual move to arrive at your new home to begin the unpacking process. We will organize or assist in organizing your kitchen, bedrooms, closets, and whatever space you need assistance in. Follow this link to schedule your unpacking today!
